While you are free to submit whatever piece you wish as part of your portfolio or as one of your samples in your contributor applications, so long as they meet the general application requirements, please know that we expect our contributors to produce new content meant exclusively for use in the anthology. In addition to this, during the creation period, the anthology will first have to approve pitches before contributors can move forward and begin with creation, which means that the pitch associated with the piece you desire to submit for the zine if you were to get accepted is not guaranteed to be approved.
