Well, i can't replant said pine without getting a hole in the hedge, so the only option left would be to cut it right above it's root – but why as it keeps growing.

I’d say, as long as you’re good with a pine in the privets, trim as needed and let it stay. It will decide if it’s cool with the arrangement or not.
