Hello!
1. I wanted to know, when we submit our stickers, will we still be able to use them (the stickers we drew) for our own use (promoting/selling it as stickers for ourselves) or is it only for this project?
2. Also, does a sticker sheet (character specific, ex. a Nami sticker sheet) count as multiple stickers or will it be considered as 1 sticker for the 5 total stickers we can draw?
Thank you so much!
Hello!
1. Yes, artists will be own/ be able to use their sticker designs beyond this project. We just ask that you refrain from using your designs until after the project concludes.
2. Yes, a sticker sheet would count as multiple designs. However, sticker sheets included in this project will be very limited, so we may ask you to focus on die-cut stickers instead!
Hi! I wanted to know if this project had an overarching theme? I remember there being a question about it in the interest check but never heard anything about it after that and wanted to know if its been decided?
Hi! The theme will be more focused on OP characters, with some room for items and locations! Based on the results of the IC, most folks seem to really want a diverse and wide selection of characters in various styles!
Hi! So since it's past the IC now, is it still going to be 20 artists with 5 stickers a piece? Seems like a lot of stickers per head with fairly little people total haha
Hi!
We are still intending to follow the 20 artists, 5 stickers per artist rule, but we may change it up depending on what we receive for applications!
Hi! I have a two questions!
I wanted to ask if an artist decides to draw the Merry or the Sunny, would that count as a location, item or character?
I also wanted to ask if the selected artists will have to pay for the production or will that depend on the buyers? Thank you!
Hello!
1. Technically the Merry/Sunny could fit each of those things! Your pitch will determine which category your design will fall into.
2. Contributors will not have to pay for the production; that will depend on sales!
I saw that there will be 5 category types: (1) characters, (2) locations, (3) items, (4) animals, or (5) Devil Fruits.
(1) I was reading the One Piece wiki page on animals, and wanted to know if humanoid animal characters like Chopper (or even the Zoan-forms or the Mink tribe) will be considered characters for the purposes of this project.
(2) Also, can multiple categories be in 1 sticker? Eg: a sticker with more than 3 characters, items, etc?
(3) Finally, what is the minimum/maximum size per sticker?
(I apologize for all the questions, but I figured I'd send them together, than spam your inbox aghfds)
For the purpose of this project, animals are more along the lines of non-humanoid/non-named animals. Chopper, Minks, Zoan-Forms of characters (i.e. Marco) qualify as characters. Laboon would also count as a character. The animals on Long Ring Long Land would count as animals.
Yep! That's possible, it depends on the artist. However, the primary focus would be the determiner of what category it is. If a sticker has Luffy with a Devil Fruit and the Straw Hat Flag , it would be considered a character sticker. If a sticker was primarily the Polar Tang and had some chibis of the Heart Pirates, it would be an item sticker!
We are aiming between 2 to 4 inches per sticker.
Hello, I wanted to say that this is such a cool idea! Will the stickers all be vinyl stickers, or will some have special finishes (eg: holographic, mirror, etc)?
Thank you!! The finishes depend on the artist! We will provide a list of finishes based off of votes from our interest check and the artists will be the ones to determine the finishes! We are planning on having a variety of finishes for the stickers!
Hi there! I was wondering if there was any reason for why there would only be 20 contributors? The number seems a bit low and I was curious about that
Hello! Our initial idea was to create 100 stickers for this project, so each contributor would be in charge of creating 5 stickers. However, this may change depending on the Interest Check results!
