I really enjoyed your written work, so i'm wondering how much of a focus will the game have on text, and roughly how "literary" you're aiming for the prose to be. Also, what are some of your main inspirations for your writing style?

There will be a lot of writing. LyLaD is like 50% a text game, ranging from the exploration to the fetish scenes. For instance the maps are abstracted and simplified, so while moving through an area for the first time you will get blurbs that give more detail, establish the atmosphere, set the tone, etc.
While there will be visuals for (most) scenes, they are primarily told through text.
There will also be a considerable amount of dialogue with NPCs and as part of the story.
In terms of the style, I do have to make certain accommodations. The game is told in second person with Lilya as the protagonist so it's already different in that way. Also I realized early on descriptions shouldn't be too flowery in places where there is a visual component, to prevent redundancy. It also needs to fit in small text boxes most of the time, though I'm planning to have a NVL format for scenes that need it or lack visuals. There is also a lot of flavor text for describing things or small events in passing, like becoming full or burping, and these need to be simple to not stand out too much when repeated later.
But besides all that I want to maintain the quality of my usual writing, and make sure the writing remains the focus in certain areas where it can really shine.
I wouldn't really know how to describe my writing style or where I got it from, sorry.
For LyLaD however, if you want an idea of what I mean by '50% a text game', you should play Ruina: Fairy Tale of the Forgotten Ruins. It's generally the main inspiration for LyLaD as a whole (the normal parts of it), but especially so for how its formatted and written, particularly in exploration.
