Hi! for the little blurb we're supposed to write for ourselves on the acceptance form, is it meant to be written in first person or 3rd person?

Either is fine ! We have a bit of both, though I think most people are favouring first person.

Can I submit a completed poem for the zine or do I have to write something new if I am accepted?

We do require for the works featured in the zine to be something new created specifically for the zine. You can submit the poem as an example of your work, but it would not be able to be used in it if you're accepted.

Hello! I was interested in applying for Either a Merch Artist or Page Artist position; would I need to submit two applications or specify somewhere on the singular app?

If you could apply for both it would be very appreciated, we'd like to keep track of how many we get for both!

Hello, how skilled does one have to be at art to apply?

Hi there. It's really hard to say as there are many different things that could make someone appear as more skilled than someone else. We have been trying to go through and find people with a variety of different styles, and I will admit that we favour people who can do backgrounds well since most submissions will be full pages for the zines. I suggest you apply anyway!

What genres of writing will be accepted? Is it just fic?

We are currently considering accepting some non-fiction writing as well. We would just suggest that if you are going to apply for non-fiction to tell us a bit about the idea you'd like to do so that we can decide whether it fits into the zine!

Hey! I LOVE OtGW and am thinking of applying but I've never written anything for the fandom before. Is it okay to apply with pieces from other fandoms only?

Hi! We're glad you're interested in applying! It is perfectly fine to apply with pieces outside of OTGW. whatever examples you have of your work we will gladly take !
