Hi there. It's really hard to say as there are many different things that could make someone appear as more skilled than someone else. We have been trying to go through and find people with a variety of different styles, and I will admit that we favour people who can do backgrounds well since most submissions will be full pages for the zines. I suggest you apply anyway!
