hi!!! rant ahead im sawry but my friends r being so 🫤 lately like they would guilt-trip and gaslight me every time ndi ako nakakasama sa hangouts nila. they would make jokes that is for me ay sensitive na and nakakasakit. idk how do i tell them ab it since alam q na ugali nila and i know how they'd respond PLS PLS WHAT DO I DO
hii bb sorry for only responding now!! omg that sounds shitty….even if may negative feelings sila, being passive aggressive about it isn’t productive. i think you should just be honest and confront them kasi skirting around it or playing it off doesn’t really help. apologize for not being able to go as often but also let them hear about your side. baka hindi lang sila aware bakit hindi ka nakakasama and nagkakaroon sila ng ibang assumptions. nip it in the bud kaysa mag build pa kayo ng further resentment sa isa’t isa. you can try asking them din na hey do you sincerely feel ba like i’m not present as often? and you can work from there by understanding feelings nila then communicate your own. it’ll all work out, just don’t be afraid of having the hard conversations!! <3

I want to get lip piercings pero im scurred huhuhu
teh as someone na nagsisisi na hindi nagpa lip and nose piercings during undergrad and now can't get them anymore cos of job hunting, i say go wahahaha i watched videos of lip piercings and i don't think it's painful per se, it'll just feel like your lips are swollen! yung pag pierce mismo more of hard pressure lang siya and it's quick hehehe i-push mo na yannnn

HMMM maybe the climax + ending of personal shopper (2016). i remember realizing during that moment that assayas had broken new ground about how to tell stories of grief and tragedy in the digital era while imbuing it with elements of the supernatural. thinking about that film now, i still think it's pretty special.

Can you please give me adive on choosing one's college major and things to keep in mind while choosing one?
I am on a gap year and i feel so lost.
Although I have interests in many fields, I am not particularly passionate about any of them.
It's been several months since i am exploring but i am still very clueless.
I feel so pressured.Everbody around me seems to have this life thing figured out.
And i don't where i am going and what's next.
I am scared that I will be standing at the end of my gap year still clueless.

hii well for one i think it’s good that you’re aware of the fields you’re interested in! i think that’s a good place to start. i think more so than a passion, your major could be an area that keeps you curious or engaged with the things you learn there. we didn’t have majors in our degree program but i remember choosing my electives for our sort of minor (it’s complicated lol) and nothing really struck me but i picked ones that were aligned with the things i cared about and could expand my ideas about it (e.g. community welfare, anthropology, indigenous psychology, etc.). maybe you can look at the courses under each major and see if the classes sound interesting to you! check out their syllabi. personally, i think fields that keep you curious motivate you more.
another thing is whether a certain major aligns with the kind of career you want to have in the future or will get you closer to it. if you have any student orgs or profs who graduated from your same program, you can also study what kind of career trajectory they had under their majors and see which one appeals to you. set up a meeting with them or stalk their linkedin profiles. obviously it’s not always clear cut but it could give you some sort of idea over what you’re getting into.
also, trust your gut. a lot of the time people end up in majors or programs they know isn’t the right fit for them because it’s the most “practical” or has the most earning potential. but it’ll be hard if it’s something that doesn’t sustain your interest somehow and eventually puts you on a path you don’t actually want. you still have time so i know you’ll figure it out!! don’t pressure yourself too much and trust that you’ll make the right decision. i’m rooting for you 🫂💗 also thank you so much, i’m looking forward to writing film news hehehe lemme know btw when you pick your major!
