■ Yeah Chaos' new look is really disappointing. Can't really pinpoint it besides saying it doesn't really pop in terms of the weird or banal.
Be glad you don't. Despite the lie post canon tries to sell about fans being the future, most fan content is kind of ass. And we mean the big name stuff, not little Timmy's first swing at writing a fan comic. We ain't that much of an asshole.
That's really all it is. It's too typical. It would work for almost any other character in the game if tweaked to fit them, but for chaos it's just too mundane.
I know their whole arc in 1 is becoming less detached from their progeny and the mortal world at large, and I see how their design reflects That- nyx's face, fury wings, than's bangs, etc. and no one would be more likely to completely dump their old persona than chaos. But it still feels too out together, not organic enough
