Hii, I haven’t played genshin in awhile but natlan just makes me feel really sad :( like I can’t put my finger on it but ig just the characters and their designs just don’t stand out despite hoyo choosing very bold/colorful styles with them? And the colorism too ofc :( Do you know any artists who’ve made good redesigns? sorry for the longer question, hope you’re having a wonderful day today :)
hello! sorry for the late response, i've been checking my retrospring less frequently as of late <3
i definitely feel the same way. i've seen lots of redesigns for natlan characters, but i'm not sure if i can pinpoint any specific ones that were monumental for me. the only ones i can think of are chasca + citlali redesigns by @Ngreentail (who is currently private) and a modded redesign of mualani by @mimo4e ! i am not entirely informed about what the most culturally accurate redesign for these characters would be, however, so i do recommend chatting with members of these groups for better info :)
