ALSO sorry again for bothering you again but I was thinking about the slight parallels between ruan mei and alhaitham and thought it was interesting— both had and lost parents who were scientists/scholars, both were raised by loving relatives, and there’s some sort of emphasis on their grandmothers in both backstories. I just find it neat how there’s similarities in their upbringing and how their character/perspectives compare to each other now :)

this is very true! i'd never thought about their upbringings being similar before, but since i relate quite a bit to them both it makes sense... not to mention they're both autistic-coded hehe

Hii, I haven’t played genshin in awhile but natlan just makes me feel really sad :( like I can’t put my finger on it but ig just the characters and their designs just don’t stand out despite hoyo choosing very bold/colorful styles with them? And the colorism too ofc :( Do you know any artists who’ve made good redesigns? sorry for the longer question, hope you’re having a wonderful day today :)
hello! sorry for the late response, i've been checking my retrospring less frequently as of late <3
i definitely feel the same way. i've seen lots of redesigns for natlan characters, but i'm not sure if i can pinpoint any specific ones that were monumental for me. the only ones i can think of are chasca + citlali redesigns by @Ngreentail (who is currently private) and a modded redesign of mualani by @mimo4e ! i am not entirely informed about what the most culturally accurate redesign for these characters would be, however, so i do recommend chatting with members of these groups for better info :)

why do the she/they/hers obsessed with yaoi keep ending up ratio'ing the he/they/him🌈 s & calling them homophobic for making fun of their fakegay yaoi men?
like yaoi is for str8s in the first place, the only direction homophobia could actually go in is against the real life gays who the fujoshis attack for making fun of their ugly inbred yaoi men

What are your opinions on the alien stage OST?/How would you rank the songs?
my opinion is that ever since i got into alien stage i cannot stop streaming it and trying to stream anything else disrupts the vibe
but here's my current ranking! (just based on how often i stream them):
- ruler of my heart
- cure
- my clematis
- black sorrow
- unknown (till the end)
- sweet dream
- all-in
- any other special editions/bonus tracks :)
