First of all, thank you for not judging me. I still enjoy bottom hwx too a degree but don't want it thrust in my face everyday. my frustration mostly stems from the fact that people dismiss all of his hard work and other sides of him to paint him only as a hyperfeminine guy. I believe his fans tend to disrespect him so much more compared to other members. for example that girl screaming at him "mother" to his face. although he handled it very well no one will call out these kinds of actions because they're somehow convinced he's okay with it. while other fans wouldn't dare to walk up to sn and scream at him "daddy daddy" to his face because they'd face consequences even though he embraces his sexual/masculine side openly.

i’m mostly involved in the secngjccng side of fandom and see tweets about other members mostly from my friends and mutuals who are respectful to them so i don’t have an objective opinion to give in this regard. i think ateez itself plays a lot into the mommy thing, also by design, which has given a lot of leeway to fans to take this to an extreme degree which they back up with “but ateez does it” and “but i’m queer and this is queer culture”. another one of these things there’s not much to do about
and ofc!! i’m glad it could be of some help, it took me almost a week to get to it because it felt like a good opportunity to share all those thoughts i had piling up, so thank you for giving me that chance :>
