Heyaa,, there's a difference between using it negatively and 'positively'. Although, there is never really a positive way to say a slur, it was CLEARLY used as a means of bullying / (self) degradation & as a means to cause harm, while I used it jokingly with my friend 🙇♂️🙇♂️ yes, I can reclaim the f-slur. it's two completely different things to use a slur around / call your friend a slur and using one around a complete stranger. I do say the f- and t-slur around close friends from time to time, but even then I only say 'fag' and not the full version because the full version still makes me uncomfortable.

I was not. while I do agree I was unnecessarily and unreasonably rude, it was not an overreaction. I 100% appreciate being told that since I forgot about what he did and what he is apart of - which I strongly and sincerely apologize for - but the use of the r-slur, even if that was his display, was not necessary at all. I have a strong dislike for the use of slurs and I am not, nor will I be, ashamed of expressing that. I agree, I was a bit rude and unreasonable about it, but there was simply no need to have said it there. please try to take my perspective into consideration, thank you.
