i'm the f/f anon omg thank u sm the doc was very illuminating 🥹 i agree with a lot of the points too especially with how many fics are centred on beauty rituals/stereotypically feminine stuff, it just feels like i'm reading a straight woman's perception of lesbians (basically feels no different from what 2 best friends do). i'm not butch/masc myself but it feels alienating to read sometimes when it makes up the majority of fics since it's not like m/m gets the same treatment where the guys just talk about cars or something 😭 ily lesbian queen i hope to see more variety in f/f and will try my best to contribute to that 🫡
you're welcome!!!! and yes seriously, you make such a good point about m/m not getting the same treatment with talking about cars or whatever alksjdfasdf like obviously m/m isn't meant to be 1000% realistic either but they're at least allowed some variation!!
