i mean this in a genuine manner, but is there a definite reason why you seem to dislike all the popular genshin ships? for example, i notice you dislike hkvh, eimk, bei/guang. to each their own of course, but it's just surprising to me, bc you're the only one i see who actively dislikes these ships. others either like them or are just indifferent.
i mean, i wrote kaeluc for ages! lol. i also do like thomato, it's just not a favorite so i don't rt a lot. i'm not a contrarian hater on purpose. beiguang and eimiko aren't ones i dislike on the whole, it just so happens that the popular dynamic for them bores me. also so much eimiko i see is futa which is a big strike against it... especially since i've talked about being a top yae truther before. if there's stuff out there that is top yae and a non-moewife ei, i'm open to it! i just don't ever see it!
as for why, idk. i don't want to sound like a snob but i think a lot of popular genshin ships are surface level and forced (by fandom) into popular fandom dynamics regardless of whether it fits the character(s) or ship, whereas i'm interested in what i can dig out from canon and what provides the meatiest most interesting relationship.
hkvh is the only one i'm a true hater towards and if you get me started i fear i won't stop and won't be nice 😭
