i'm a different anon and sorry to rant in your inbox but unsurprisingly the person who made the tweet comparing m/m numbers to f/f also complained that some toxic yuri ships were too problematic for them 🤣 it's always the people whining about the lack of content who police and shame anyone who doesn't like pure and fluffy pairings and then they wonder why no one wants to be in their spaces when they're overly hostile. tbh i don't even think the people who tweet that stuff even read f/f bc when has trying to guilt trip people ever resulted in good fanfic, any real himejo would rather the tag be bare but have fics written by people that actually care instead of thousands of boring fic people only write bc they think its feminist or proves they support lesbians
idk if this is a new trend but i only ever saw these types in the genshin fandom but now it seems to have spread everywhere, it makes me question if these people even like yuri beyond rting fanart when they spend more time complaining about yaoi. that tweet literally got more likes than kudos of the top fanfic of that f/f pairing…
YES LMAO with these tweets i always check for that too and every single time they 're against "problematic" stuff... one of the ones from yesterday or the day before (idr exactly) had a recent RT calling the ship that got revealed as cousins AFTER 30 YEARS nasty. maybe no one's writing the f/f you like because you're MISERABLE TO BE AROUND and DON'T ACTUALLY LIKE ANYTHING .

this is sooooooooooooooo sad but i am not surprised. like i am sure f/f writers would rather get kudos and comments on their fics than come online and just see people complaining about yaoi lmao
