why is it so difficult for people to grasp that BL has nothing to do with irl men the people who can't make the difference all sound like little kids to me. there's a reason BL has only ever been popular with women and not gay men like come on people. genuinely if anything men in BL are some sort of third gender because they're inherently female projections on "males" in a way that males can't actually be irl. that's why most are bishies ( = blend of physical female traits with male "socialization" and just being tall maybe) like you have to be a special kind of stupid to think these characters are in any way accurately representative of irl males
