You talk a lot about how lesbian sex fan fiction needs to be realistic but you don’t talk about how yaoi fanfics never mentioning prepping and shit dick which happens like…70% of the time. Where’s the realism???
are you a gay man (actual question) because in my experience knowing gay men personally, reading gay male guides to writing m/m (which i actually do link to some in my f/f guide!), and reading extensively on like r/AskGayMen: 70% is a vast overestimate. extensive 1-2-3 finger prepping is pretty rare, "cleaning" beforehand is common but not a requirement for everyone, and while mess eventually happens to almost everyone, it's not even like... half the time. and despite that i definitely still see cleaning and 1-2-3 fingering a LOT!
plus, either way, there's definitely a difference between "people can't even describe the vulva/pussy accurately" and "doesn't mention the occasional mishap of getting excrement on his dick" 😭
