I love how they’re actualy love each other but in denial and when they realize it 💥 also that scene when phu trying to ask his lawyer that is it really possible for their common law marriage. Yeaaah, I love playing with the idea that sometimes we're so focused on the big picture, we miss the forest for the trees. The thing we've been searching for has been right in front of us all along. I adore writing that fic bc it's given me a crash course in family law, and I've even been able to pick my cousin's brain (who's a real lawyer, mind you)
