My other Roe gal, Turbulent Indigo, was a farm kid in Coerthas when the Calamity hit and her family’s land became frozen and barren. She stuck it out for a little while but eventually traveled to Ul’dah to try her luck as a gladiator and make some gil to send back to the people who couldn’t or didn’t want to leave. She’s about 35 as of ARR and is hopelessly in love with X’rhaya’s big sister X’yalika :)

Of the ones who are mostly or exclusively in ARR I’m very fond of Loonh Gah from the Amalj’aa questline! Also Brayflox, though she puts me Through It, remains wonderful

Bright Ruby was raised by her older brother (still not sure about his name) in the Shroud; they were sent away from their home village when she was a baby to protect them from a clan war that was brewing. She’s always been very aware of her “outsider” status despite living in the Shroud her whole life, and has been careful to maintain her natural cheerful demeanor so as not to be subject to more xenophobia. She’s 18 at the start of MSQ, after finally being fed up with how everything was exacerbated by the Calamity and striking out on her own.

And a question I’m quite happy about too haha so X’rhaya was born in a tiny village in the Peaks of Gyr Abania and lived there until he was around fifteen or sixteen by which point the imperials were making life in his village substantially harder (honestly just by cutting them off further) and he left to become an adventurer in the hopes of sustaining himself and lessening the burden on his tribe. He’s trans (intentionally) and autistic (because I don’t know how to write anything else lmao). If you have specific questions lmk I love talking about him and my other children :D
