what is your relationship to the helsinki—sipoo border conlict? were you pre-obsessed or did you only get into the fandom after seeing the theme for the may wolf?
believe it or not, the VN was based on a pre-existing story idea i was determined to do for this year's MAY WOLF if and only if the theme happened to fit... and it did, to such a literal degree that the word "expansion" is used in a law i'm quoting. so i guess my greatest tip for utilizing a game jam's theme creatively is: dumb luck
