not to the municipality of Sipoo in particular, but i have lived around the capital region all my life. the parts of the story set in Helsinki happen in places i'm quite familiar with; the cinema featured is one i regularly go to, for instance, and i grabbed the outside background image while i was seeing CHALLENGERS. (i chose the location because that scene is, of course, a blatant rip-off from FALLEN LEAVES, which filmed there)
