SFW toggle as in the game skipping sex scenes? though it's something to talk over with the rest of the teams when we're closer to release with the projects i'm working on right now, my personal preference as a writer is to not make narrative content optional. there's a lot of micro and macro stuff to think about in every scene and how it relates to the whole – pacing, structure, tone, genre, imagery, character psychology, etc – and people underestimate how difficult it is to deliver a satisfying experience with a highly nonlinear structure. i think that's something a lot of FVNs already struggle with for many reasons, and i will gladly take any opportunity to simplify the overall shape of the story.

that being said, it's worth mentioning that while some FVNs treat sex scenes as porny bonus content, i'm not really writing anything like that right now. if i do decide to write a sex scene, it's coming from a place of narrative importance (which can take many different forms!) anyway; if i come to the conclusion that i don't like it, i will just cut it for everybody.

also, i'm not sure if this is what the question was alluding to, but a toggle for censoring visual nudity is something i have considered if it would help people who want to stream FVNs on twitch, put playthroughs on youtube, etc. i'm not sure how those platforms feel about purely textual depictions of sex? if you're a person who is invested in or knows something about this, DM me somewhere, it would be interesting to hear more.
