ohhhh my god SO MANY THOUGHTS....i usually tend to think of blade as the single dad but there's SUCH a good AU by shieru that i think about all the time. (there's a fic floating around inspired by the art too but i can't find it rn... OTL)

i'm also a big fan of the hivemind AU that bailu is DH & blade's kid. delicious

ANYWAYS...i think he's just so tragic and has this tendency to hold the weight on his shoulders. however, he wants the absolute best for his kid and tries so hard to be gentle and kind to them. it's just. that the depression is so much 😭

i like to think it's so much nicer than the upbringing he had in canon, with so much of his life imprisoned and on the run. when he finally gets a chance to unwind and have a minute to himself it is explosive. young single dad DH desperate to have his lil private wanks....rip brother :')
