I think their human forms are their favorite! Like purely because humans are one of the few creatures that actually have sex for pleasure, and not just procreation, and I'm not saying merfolk can't willingly have sex outside of spawning, but I head Canon that spawning season is the most sensitive a mer will ever be to sex. They still pull pleasure, but nothing significant that they'd keep doing it.

When it comes to their human form, I think the sensations is different to them.

They have a biological drive to repopulate. In example, sex = beating extinction. I also head Canon that mer numbers have dropped significantly because humans, like Floyd mentions he used to always hear loud boats and see fisherman, I think it's reasonable to assume there's ghost nets, and stray hooks just harming them. Sex under water is more of a duty and an expectation, but while they're human, sex isn't about having spawn, but it's every inch of stimulating as it would be while during spawning season.

I think Azul or Jade get the most addicted to human sex. Floyd usually hates repeating things, but he still has it if the mood strikes him right 🥰 thank you for asking!!!

YESSSSSSS!!! I think it was Idia who called Riddle a glory-hog but glory aside Riddle being an absolute hog AND menace for Floyd's food...

It's not even that much of weight, or maybe it is! Riddle's been denying himself for so long his body probably lunges at the opportunity to put on weight ... Riddle goes from itty bitty and petite to short and stout in just two months 🥰 outgrows his pants and shirts really quick, but it's okay because he feels better and it's not actually that bad. He looks healthier and has a happier outlook on things since he's no longer starving himself for his mother's benefit.

Floyd feeds him such good foods too... He's literally so obsessed with Riddle's sudden love handles but hes not complaining because Riddles not complaining 🥰🥰🥰

Ohohoooo Rollo would lament everything about it. The whole pregnancy leaves him dreary and tired but not because he hates the idea of having a child, but because Malleus is a horrid pregnant.

He is needy, he is mischievous, and he is HORNY. Rollo can hardly keep up with his demands when it comes to his ungodly food cravings, and don’t get him started on the suddenly increased libido. Malleus at most would prefer two rounds before pregnancy, but here he is, needing to do every position he can do physically and still get ate out.

Their kid is adorable though! Makes Rollo forget everything he hated about the pregnancy and suddenly! They do it again.

I have a hard time seeing Floyd doing anything maliciously unless he was really angry or revved up. In a setting where he’s just feeling playful; what I think would happen is too many boundaries being crossed and Riddle’s feelings getting ignored/hurt.

Something along the lines of Riddle being put off by Floyd’s physical and sexual advances. He starts pushing him off when he gets too close, and even tries to get away when he’s fully uncomfortable.

Being a deep sea mer, Floyd’s prey-drive kicks in.

The sight of fleeing turns a switch in his brain and he thinks it’s a fun little game! Watching Riddle get even more upset as the situation escalates just pushes him further. His poking turns to grabbing, grabbing turns to pinning, and now Floyd’s on top of Riddle groping him.

Riddle would be outright panicking when he realizes there's nothing he can do but let Floyd dominate him. He’ll let himself give in if it means Floyd won’t take it any further, but unfortunately, Riddle won’t get out that easy!

It would only be until the second year they’re out of the school that Azul would get back a positive test. They have been trying for two years now, starting before, and continuing after they graduated at NRC.

It’s not even like they originally wanted a baby, they were just being wild and stupid, having unprotected sex like their lifes depended on it and fucked like rabbits. A few months of that though, left Azul questioning things.

Why wasn’t he getting pregnant? And why did he care so much?

Getting pregnant would be bad, he would struggle to upkeep his business and school life. Azul shouldn’t be upset! …but he is. His body has always been out to get him - putting on extra weight like it wasn’t a problem, giving him poor eyesight, and now, he’s not even sure he can get pregnant.

Mer of his species struggle with fertility. Cephalopods are a rare find, not to mention they get hunted for sport and food constantly, so being unable to have a child hurts Azul deeply. A long deep gash cuts into him for years until he’s finally able to get a positive test.

He’s done everything from putting on a reasonable amount of weight to safely carry, and holistic remedies to try and encourage ovulation. Sevens, he even took Idia under water after brumation to see if he could encourage his biology to mate successfully. Finally, he’s done it!

It’s wonderful to be spoiled by Idia too. He’s been watching Azul struggle with his emotions, eating habits, and strife. He was ecstatic the moment Azul showed him the two lines, holding him tightly and crying rivers with Azul. It was wonderful.

Beautiful, wonderful, and peaceful. Azul should have known better than to expect the world to be nice to him for long.

Their first few appointments with the OBGYN’s stated a known fact each time they checked in.

Oh Idia, poor, poor, Idia. He wanted them just as badly too, but when Everything happened, he shut down the same way he usually does. Hole-ing himself up and sleeping on most of it.

Couples usually keep trying, but Azul can’t even muster the thought.
