KIND OF HEADCANON but tbh i feel some bits could just be outright canon extrapolating from what we see and hear about in hiveswap, but teals are one of the few castes that are more socially inclined to be close-knit, like it or not, with other members of their caste.

they're one of the only ones that i imagine go to any sort of wider schooling institution all together since they're all enforced by the empire to join legislacerator/legislacerator-adjacent work and they're predisposed to LOVE gossip. even ones that try to be standoffish and isolated can't help but be a little nosy (rorzak and even valtra aren't exceptions to this, they can be just as bad as pyrroh when it comes to it). since it's sort of a "everybody knows everybody" and "teals talk" situation, the teal rumor mill is unmatched in quickly passing information down the network.

the only other castes i imagine have a dynamic somewhat similar to this are jades or purples from being stuck in the cloister or from attending clurch together respectively, but they don't have the 'watercooler convo' vibe the teals do imo.
