after you ship out the preorders for the alchemizer charms, are you going to restock them or do another preorder?

i would like to, yes! i always do a buffer period after i send out preorder packages in case any issues come up where i may have to troubleshoot orders with a replacement, but i have extra stock coming. those extras will be put up for sale after that buffer. new preorders will probably not be until i can finish some other new designs (ie the alpha kids!)

What's Meklys' lusus?

it's basically a baikal seal LMAO the ones with the big boba eyes. started as a joke at first due to the contrast between meklys' outer appearance with it, but since seals are typically stereotyped as show animals, clapping and balancing on command for others' entertainment, it ended up suiting meklys with his upbringing and complicated relationship being in the entertainment industry on alternia

have you ever learned any foreign language

i am not fluent in anything other than english sadly, which is actually like a bit of a villain origin story for me. i COULD have been bilingual in both english and tagalog. but my dad was concerned that i'd get confused in english-speaking schools if i was learning both at the same time. my parents regret it but i still am huffy about it LOL now i only know some basic words just as a result of living around my mom

otherwise i also know bits of different languages i've taken classes for. i lived in japan and germany and took classes for them growing up on an elementary and intermediate level as well as spanish, french in middle school, spanish a few times, latin in high school, and then japanese again for college

i would really like to put more time and effort into learning at least one other language fully sometime instead of only having a handful of a few

i do!! though i don't do very much with them since for the most part, ancestors or dancestors are like a "side story" to me, and don't effect much of the main story of my trolls if at all. i pretty much only have them for my teals too though LOL the miasmata is peridu's ancestor while my trio have dancestors that i messed around with a little (rorzak -> schade, pyrroh -> nietzi, valtra -> ??? noname yet). two of them even have toyhouse pages even though they're really underdeveloped right now!

have you ever read any homestuck fanadventure?

i have a really haphazard attention span so i haven't read a lot of newer ones! but i will list some things old and new that i've seen or had my eye on.

like some classics like ke$hastuck and guidestuck, i saw when they first were around LMAO oasisquest from chase and rick has cute characters starting the story out. i haven't checked it out yet, but i've noted to read crossmound sometime too. for canon-adjacent characters, i've also heard good things about kittyquest! and ofc since i've worked on their aligned projects like albums and snowbound blood, i've read some of vast error too

What is a relationship btwn your trolls you want to explore, but either haven't shared here yet or have yet to getting around to it 🤔

i dont think anyone except friends in my server know this yet but harlan and pyrroh are close friends! rorzak doesn't approve since he finds all purplebloods to be dangerous and suspicious and pyrroh's track record with them isn't great, but he and harlan genuinely have a chill friendship.

it's not particularly deep, but that's what pyrroh likes about him, because he can stay vague and harlan doesn't expect more out of him since he takes everyone at face value. they just have fun and sometimes get up to shenanigans, much to rorzak's chagrin. any silly homoerotic dudebro interaction, it probably can apply to them.

What's a headcanon you have that's unique to the tealblood caste? :3c (can be xenobiology, culturally, socially, etc.)

KIND OF HEADCANON but tbh i feel some bits could just be outright canon extrapolating from what we see and hear about in hiveswap, but teals are one of the few castes that are more socially inclined to be close-knit, like it or not, with other members of their caste.

they're one of the only ones that i imagine go to any sort of wider schooling institution all together since they're all enforced by the empire to join legislacerator/legislacerator-adjacent work and they're predisposed to LOVE gossip. even ones that try to be standoffish and isolated can't help but be a little nosy (rorzak and even valtra aren't exceptions to this, they can be just as bad as pyrroh when it comes to it). since it's sort of a "everybody knows everybody" and "teals talk" situation, the teal rumor mill is unmatched in quickly passing information down the network.

the only other castes i imagine have a dynamic somewhat similar to this are jades or purples from being stuck in the cloister or from attending clurch together respectively, but they don't have the 'watercooler convo' vibe the teals do imo.

What does Rorzak do when he rests from his work

he takes a nap when he can get them, does jigsaw puzzles, catch up on some reading, or goes out to eat smth on his own or with friends (usually on pyrroh’s insistence)

burgundy: jokyll / bronze: rebuin (sorry vitril) / gold: novaya / jade: ekophi / olive: zurich / teal: p. pyrroh / cerulean: ridoti / purple: harlan / indigo: fuurin / violet: meklys !! some are closer than others on my faves and i have a few trolls i need to work on more and introduce properly, but i enjoy them all a lot.

What are your goals art wise wise this year?

FOR THIS YEAR.. i want to be healthier in my relationship with my art, i want to be more consistent in a merch-making schedule, i want to dedicate more time to full color illustrations, and by the end of the 2024, i want to have made one [1] game no matter how small or simple.
