i am not fluent in anything other than english sadly, which is actually like a bit of a villain origin story for me. i COULD have been bilingual in both english and tagalog. but my dad was concerned that i'd get confused in english-speaking schools if i was learning both at the same time. my parents regret it but i still am huffy about it LOL now i only know some basic words just as a result of living around my mom

otherwise i also know bits of different languages i've taken classes for. i lived in japan and germany and took classes for them growing up on an elementary and intermediate level as well as spanish, french in middle school, spanish a few times, latin in high school, and then japanese again for college

i would really like to put more time and effort into learning at least one other language fully sometime instead of only having a handful of a few
