i guess you could say it’s a mixture of the two? yes i kind of celebrate it, but my partner and i order a pizza and decorate the box (we have a festive holiday pizza box with lights and stickers and stuff on it instead of a tree) and we listen to the christmas episode of the Hour of Slack (radio show done by the Church of the SubGenius) and the crypt keeper christmas album (from tales from the crypt) and that’s about it. i usually will make an idol playlist of all the idol christmas songs and listen to it the day of, but my family is dead to me and his family is actually dead (minus his sister who lives out of state) so we usually just vibe at home the day of.
