hello this is so random but there is a very specific picture of my partner that just makes me think of your art style every time i look at it. they are smiling so genuinely and their eyes are squinty and their hair falls so perfectly and their septum is crooked and idk it just looks a lot like something you would draw well! if you were ever confident enough to open commissions i would commission a drawing of that pic so quickly lol, i am just so in love with my partner and i am in love with your art!

hi!! i hope your day/night is going well :) i just wanted to ask if you have any tips for beginners who are learning how to draw? i really love the way you draw that's why i'm asking you :,))
hi :)) that’s a difficult one haha i would say definitely try and learn the basics (anatomy, facial structure, lighting etc) there are lots of good youtube videos on these topics and it is really really useful to have a good knowledge of these things. even if you’re aiming for a very stylised way of drawing understanding these things is fundamental. apart from that i’d say draw what you like and experiment a lot! look at artists you admire and pick out the bits of their style you enjoy and try incorporating it into your own art. don’t try and find your own style immediately, that will come with experimentation over time i know it’s annoying to hear (i hated hearing it and tried to force it) but i promise it will! and lastly don’t compare yourself to others, all of the talented artists on here had years of awkward wonky looking drawings before they got to the point they are now, you just didn’t see it!!
