Does big girl want pats?~
Any plans to bring back some of the old stuff like Gurm/Gjoda related scenarios? Those were my first introduction to your art and I still really like 'em :3
I am always trying to pull together the wider ryoxxl "lore" where the big purple dragoness xenos ethereals (Gjodo) are playing cosmic dolls house with humanity who have just over stretched their colonisation of the galaxy and are beginning to fray at the seams. These seams are where the transhuman corruptions set in and filter all the way back to terra, with lots of little storylines and settings where the outcomes tend to be very fattening and transformative! Very 40K inspired, but with less grunting man meat and more fake eyelashes and ill-fitting shapewear.
The recent Rhinoko lore is very much what I envisaged for the Gurm-like WGTFs-- a sort of dark, deeply corruptive and bloated nurgle-like force that blesses its devotees with a super trippy and endlessly enjoyable high... whilst turning them into flabby brutes with a warped but highly invigorated new sense of self. The Rhinoko stuff feels like it's an off-shoot of that kind of corruption with the whole pretty girl into big heavy brute vibe. In contrast, getting gifted with an enormously fat dragon rear, tail and a complimentary glitzy new wardrobe feels much more the big Gjodo space girl end member WGTF. Choose your kinky poison...!
I love both sorts of WGTF and stories lend so much more to the enjoyment of a weird and wonderful illustration that falls out my brain. If people keep supporting me when I go off on one with these short stories or brand new TF sequences I'll be fleshing out this a lot more! Likewise if people want more coherence, actual plots that also something I'd be interested in doing for the Gjodo stuff. It's all very nascent still.
Irresistible insatiable all-consuming gluttony erasing overriding & subsuming all other emotion impulses & iota of identity is honestly one of my all-time favourite weight-gain tropes! Just growing gradually degraded by your greed until you literally only exist to eat & eat & eat! Reduced to a pure piggish puppet possessed by your overwhelming overpowering uncompromising cravings! And you basically become nothing but an embodiment of your own utterly intoxicating appetites!... I'd honestly LOVE to hear your personal take on the topic, dude!
I think this is genuinely what'd happen if you let a lot of us totally unleash our base sexual and hedonistic NEED to become a monument to consumption, surrendering all control over our physical representation on Earth to the extremes of a six figure daily calorific intake.
So many XWG stories culminate with the hoggish, mindless gorging on a feeding funnel until the subject has metamorphosed into a heaving, wobbling blob of blubber. It's part of the fantasy: what would happen if you simply devolved into a vehicle for total pleasure, letting all of your complex human nuances evaporate, simplifying your existence to a single need, and becoming no more mobile or cognisant than a sea squirt that breathes in nutrients from sea water... except you're a hole to fill with calories, sweet sweet gooey energy all wrapped up in sugar, to grow to lose more of yourself to your own psychic hijacking. You've let your mind become hopelessly addicted and each passing second makes it 10 times harder to go back.
Feeling your body expand rapidly across the floor, you know you've short circuited, you're pure id now, you tried to keep it down for years, but finally given the opportunity to turn 8 ton pig, you jumped... you grew and you let greed turn you into an ocean of greasy fat... and you LOVE every moment.
I hope future fat fur fans look back on our era of fat furry art as just 'Furry art' simply due to ever-increasing obesity!
I do think that furries are much more chill with fats, and a hugely obese furry could walk into a room and nobody would bat an eye (unless they're like super hot and have a rack that could sink a battleship, because who could resist THAT). Until people get over their apparent "revulsion" at seeing fat bodies online we will always be a category... rather than just a body type. Ideally FA or other sites should simply allow people to filter on body type, rather than classify as a sub-fetish anything north of a muffin top. I think things are changing. I have no stats, but it feels like fat furry is a growing (heh) community. It's clear that fat furry art is awakening a sexual attraction for fatter people, in the same way it can open up peoples' sexuality.
I hope fat furry art can at least encourage people to see the attraction in a wider range of body types, helping de-normalise fat phobia. Obviously fetishising fat isn't exactly helping in that regard, but I do hope that fat furs are blended into the mainstream because we're all sexy, whether we're fat, thin and everything in between!
So I was randomly reminded of "Urban Foxes" today & I now have a burning desire to see a super slobby Suzie gorging herself on garbage from dumpsters & food scraps from trash cans at night! Possibly while being caught in the act of shamefully embracing her insatiably opportunistic voraciously vulpine nocturnal nature! Utterly bloated & blubbery beyond belief! And exclaiming: "I-it's not what it looks like!!!" in pure panicked shock! (Please forgive my dumb art-prompt if it's not to your tastes tho Ryoxxl!)
What's ryoko from your art kinda makes me Wanna play or watch whatever she's from
Ryoko is from Tenchi Muyo, a huge anime franchise from back in the day. Very 90s. It aired on Toonami in the early 2000s which is where I and most other western viewers found it and fell in love. Since then it's developed a pretty hardcore fanbase.
Episodes 1-13 of the OVA continuity (Tenchi Muyo: Ryo-Okhi) are definitely worth a watch. There are 3 feature length movies too that are fun and cross into different continuities. It's a rare series insofar as it began as an anime, not a manga, so they kind of went nuts with different storylines. I also like the entirely separate manga storyline enough to have bought physical copies for my collection.
You can skip the other series, like Universe/Shin/GXP/anything post-2003 unless you're curious. There's a ton of it out there with so many spin offs it boggles the mind.
Sadly, the writing fell off terribly in later seasons (read became weird, incestuous and ends with a polygamous marriage... no thanks) and it became the personal vehicle for the original creator seemingly without any checks or artistic collaborations. It's aged, like a lot of older animes, but the original character designs are peak. It's also refreshing to watch an older anime without CGI (at least the early seasons)—there's something magical about cell animation and matte painted backgrounds.
It should have been rebooted by now, but the rights are so fragmented and the Japanese creators couldn't give a flying f*ck about the western market where the original series was always popular. Because of that it's practically unknown now to newer generations, which is a shame, but it's their own fault for sitting on an IP and not doing anything with it... or worse writing turgid self-referencing schlock that totally ignores the original characters that made the IP fun to begin with (personal rant).
That said, it's good fun and worth a watch!
What obscure, niche & distinctive aspects of your Scottish culture would you LOVE your international audience to experience, enjoy & be made more generally aware of; which they'd likely be utterly unfamiliar with hitherto? (Also, if you Identify as more broadly 'British' than strictly 'Scottish', I'm sincerely sorry for any awkward & unintended national misidentification there, dude!)
I am culturally more Scottish, never really losing the accent and having a strong affinity with the landscape, food culture and general openness (and broadly liberal attitudes). Scottish tories are the worst though. I love England too, as it’s where I’ve spent most of my life so far and people are in general a little more worldly down here. Some Scots will never leave Scotland! I can’t stand the English at sports. Unbearable. Plus Brexit-voting England pissed me off hugely.
Anyway! Scotland is full of the pageantry and Victorian-era romanticism around clans, tartan, bagpipes and all that’s good stuff. Do a ceilidh when you can! It’s a great way to dance yourself sober.
Nessie is a babe, obviously, and we keep her hidden away to stop ogling tourists.
Celebrate Burns night! Our national poet! Can be tricky to read the Scots dialect but my fave is the story of Tam O’Shanter—a tale of getting drunk and stumbling upon a satanic ritual in an old Kirk (church) and getting spooked teh-fuck and chased all the way back to the village on your horse by a naked witch. Great stuff… especially reciting on a cold January evening over whisky and haggis.
Eat lots of greasy food. I’ve never tried a deep fried mars bar because it’s for tourists… but grab a “Munchy Box” if you’re ever out in Glasgow or Edinburgh. You’ll gain 5 pounds overnight…! Tunnocks are also a brand of chocolate bar to look out for in international aisles too. Defs seen it in places in the US.
And obviously, don’t forget the beacon of Scottish cultural exports… Limmy.
There once was a fox girl named Suzie, with cravings intense & unruly. Why be prim or slim? She teased with a grin. Far better a fattened-up floozy! For life's way more fun when your flirty, full-figured, unfettered & curvy! So I aim to indulge! To binge, bloat & bulge! And grow ever more gluttonously girthy! I don't care if folks call me: seedy, indulgent, depraved, gross or greedy. Becoming obese brings me bliss, pride & peace… I'm a FAT, FOXY, FABULOUS FEEDEE!!! 🥰🦊😋🐷💖 (Because honestly, who doesn't love a limerick, right?!) 😁
Have you thought about setting up a shop to sell your art as prints? I just saw your Scottish cow pic and I would love to display it on my walls.
Yes, this is something I've wanted to do for a long time, but have been more focussed on commissions since I began making art and haven't had time to branch out! I really want to find a way to sell prints, sticker art and more and begin making WG and furry collectables. Not sure of the logistics of it, and what options there are. Etsy feels like it's past its best and maybe a bit iffy with big booby furry characters...?
Getting some of my ideas into physical media would be very rewarding, and definitely something I'd pursue if people expressed an interest. I'll make a few stickers and prints and see if it's worth it?
Do you prefer fatties who enjoy celebrate & encourage others growing fatter? Or to hog all the fattening fun for themselves out of revelry jealousy & a desire to preserve their prestige & pride at being the biggest baddest blubberiest b!tch on the block?
Putting myself in this scenario (because those are the most fun things to imagine... and even possible... i'm even eating cake rn, oops), let's say as a big soft fatty myself, I would certainly be a pom-pom wielding cheerleader for helping somebody totally blob out. Like, don't get me wrong, I'd be indulging and allowing all my hedonistic desires to turn me into even more of a sofa crusher, but I have BIG feeder tendencies and stuffing somebody silly to the point of rendering them helpless hogs is super hot. If you hang around me, you're gonna get FAT.
For other scenarios, particularly the "feederism out of nowhere" type story where WG curiosity gets the better of a skinny girl or boy, I kind of like it when they are insanely bent on becoming fatter than anybody thought possible, much to the horror of their friends and family!
With your taste in lovably dumpy Scottish BBWs & uber-thicc milfs, how about WG art of Lady Kluck from Disney's Robin Hood?! 🥰🐔💖 I feel she'd looks Absolutely AMAZING in your style! 😍 And with all the medieval, aristocratic, courtly context to her character, you could have SOOO Much Fun playing around with lavish, luxurious & deliciously decadent feasting, feeding & fabulously fattening excess!!! 😋👸🤤 (Och, Marian dear! Ye dinnae haf knoo how te spoil, pamper & indulge a lady's 'Wilder Appetites', hen... 😘🍰🐷🧁😈)
Excellent idea! What with her charging the rhino brutes American football style and just being an overall badass at contact sports AND losing shuttlecocks down her breasts. I love chicken girls, and bird TF in general. She and Marian steadily getting heavier and fatter cooped up in the castle grounds is a vibe. Scots girls for the win 🏴🏴!
What eventually led you to tf-ing Ryoko into a rhino? anything in specific or was it originally a one off that stuck?
Leave a pencil with me and after about 10 minutes I’ll have drawn our spiky haired menace. I can’t stop. Looking back, because I end up drawing her so often I wondered if she would look good as something massive, fat and bulky—and what better than a lazy, chunky rhino? I was looking for a really really strong body contrast to play with. She makes a good cow and pig, why not a rhino? Those horns…
Turns out, it really hit the mark when I first drew her more BBW rhino design, and I received a ton of feedback and positive comments on how she looked. It encouraged me to draw her again, and in different sizes/TF levels. I even started crafting a story which I’ve nearly finished the final part of. I then started looking at other rhino characters in animation and I got super into those big dumb rhino guards from Robin Hood. Imagine if one of them used to be skinny woman? What if?
For those familiar with the Ryoko character, a super fat rhino body works because her canon personality is so brash, larger-than-life, greedy and reckless that a big bulking beast actually suits her far more than her original slender human female frame. It’s also why she makes such an excellent TF subject—she’d definitely be into it if it gave her a stats boost or allowed her to really let go. The corruption would take over quickly.
My darker, more curious TF interests have pushed her transformation much further into the unrecognisable territory as a cool way to explore extremes, and some of that more juicy girl to huge beast before/after action. She’d make a good fat brute. I still like the BBW furry Rhinoko stuff as a separate thing entirely, but it’s been a big mixture of my own artistic/kink curiosity and lots and lots of feedback from you guys! If people wanna see more I’ll draw her more often.
It's nice to see you experiment with different artistic aesthetics, like your recent Sticker styled & Toony pics! I hope we get to see more cool, cute & quirky variance in your work in future! I feel it might even be fun to see you attempt a dumpy, doughy 'daily doodle' - sketching your Fatties with different visual modes, approaches & techniques; from hyper-realistic to super-stylised! It'd be great to see how it broadens, enhances & enriches your ongoing art!
Thanks so much! I find a lot of enjoyment not sticking to one particular style, both out of a desire to improve but also out of curiosity. Skipping around though, I'm not sure I can ever pull off anything as good as somebody who draws the same style as a proper signature!
I also have a short attention span and need to get art out there quickly to fulfil an idea! This is where the idea of a "daily doodle" or the rapid sketches came in. Good practice, more content... but the quality had to drop. Sometimes I wanna super stylised cartoony flub, other times I want something that looks like it jumped out of a body horror comic. I do want to do more vector/sticker art. I have some plans in that department once I complete this latest batch of comms.
I appreciate the support and kind words as always, I wish I could deliver more and more, and it feels nice to be able to share even a half baked idea as a sketch and get feedback!
Do you have any favourite feedist fiction or writers who craft the most tantalizing, exciting & steamy weight-gain stories? (Either furry or non-furry)
Good question! I honestly find that fiction writers for TF, furry and feedism manage to hit areas us artists just can't. I get crazy hot over stories... and should really illustrate some!
In terms of different writers, I have regrettably read and misplaced so many stories without remembering the writer, but two writers that stand out at the moment for me are
whatsonsecond on FA, especially because I was able to do some cover art for them and I love their StarFox stuff. For the gaining/TF and everything in between I have been a big fan of AdmiralAkbar1 on FA (WhatZ1tT00ya on X) for a while... his stuff helps in my own personal corruption.
If people have any recommendations or want to send me their own stuff I'd love that!
Have your OCs changed evolved or developed in any surprising ways over time as you reworked them from your original conception of who & what their characterisation was initially intended to be? And if so, how?
I've definitely enjoyed playing around with my feminine/female fox girl fursona Suzie, who has rapidly become a fave OC. It was fun to start off with the premise of how i'd like to present myself as a furry... It turns out that I ideate myself as a big, soft woman full of nurturing energy but a rock/goth gritty aesthetic to give her some gumption and strength (and match my clothing and music tastes). Strong feminine traits, fiercely loving but also sexually open are some things I'd like to have more of. It's been really fun to explore it and let it evolve. I never felt the need to have a fursona until I realised this is kinda where my heart lay, so it's now evolving with a reflection of my own personality, furry silliness, a community aspect where people are conjuring up scenarios and stories that are beyond flattering and satisfying to read. She might evolve independently into something more individual, but at the very least she's a bit of an avatar for this account and my fat furry art in general. I think she's slowly becoming more of a softie, but the party girl is still in there... a bit of a reflection of my own age.
Increasingly, because of the obscurity of her original anime source, Ryoko and her furry/TF'd offshoots are sort of OCs, hopefully not too close to Sonic recolours on DA circa 2007. People just assume she's mine when really it's just because I love putting teal spiky hair on things and going "oooh look what you've turned into" and anybody under 30 has never heard of Tenchi. It's pure theft. I've answered a few Qs already as to why it never gets old for me. I guess it's the same reason some artists love to draw Rouge. Timeless baddie girls are peak.
Occasionally you hit a rich seam of inspiration and the rhinoko and generally affinity with drawing beast-like rhino girls has been very fun, and it turns out a little underutilised in furry art. Work your niche! She's definitely grown into multiple "alts" where she's either more cuddly and anthro versus becoming an extremely transformed brute or animal hybrid. Huge personality contrasts and characterisation there. As always, when I get positive feedback for something and people start to suggest stuff based on OCs or unique designs I get a big boost and more stuff begins to spill out my kinky brain. It also guides their development and I've reworked things because I know it gets people off haha! I never know where things will take me and this one has definitely stood the test of time from a fickle artist's brain.
Altogether, there are more OCs that I am desperate to let evolve by drawing them more, adding some fluff or backstory. The Scottish cow girls + Yumi (old OC who has a Ludmilla-like TF into a big purple dragoness xenos) melded into a single universe of mythos vs xenos BBW that I can flesh out (in multiple ways) is a goal. I imagine the good "local" mythos fighting back against a draconic and malevolent xenos incursion with lots of heavy girls plotting against each other would be mildly popular, and allow for some stronger characterisations, incrementally better designs and personality development. It's kinda cool how much hotter a character becomes when you see them go through range of feelings and experiences. It certainly makes them more real.
