Hello! I've been a fan for a while, ever since I stumbled upon your art randomly on Twitter. Congrats on your debut!

Looking thru your older stories and current publication really made me want to draw again, esp more shoujo stuff :) So my question is - would you have any recommendations on art tutorials/books/resources on manga and paneling? Or any tips in general? I've mostly stuck with 4komas and struggle with drawing multiple pages coherently without feeling like I'm copying from existing manga...

Unfortunately I don’t have any book recommendations, but recreating pages from your favorite manga is a well known technique many aspiring mangaka do to hone their craft! Some people recreate the entire page, but if you want to study paneling you don’t have to go that far. Rather, draw it out and analyze it. Why is it easy to read? What types of labels (size, shape, position) do they tend to use when? When do they use long shots? When do they zoom in? What angles are used during what kind of scenes? Once you get an idea of those questions, it should be easier to apply them to your own work. For example, a technique I use a lot is using verticals panels during scenes that are more tense. In the end, there are no “rules” per se, but knowing what works vs what doesn’t makes a world of difference when trying to draw pages that are easy to read and enjoyable. Good luck!!
