oh my gosh i didn't know you liked wanpuri/precure too until i saw one of your qrts randomly 😍 i have 5 questions about it!
what is your favorite season and why?
who is your favorite cure?
what do you think of satoiro?
do you think satoru and daifuku will become cures?
Unfortunately I can't answer because Wanpre is actually the first Precure I'm watching from beginning to end. Most of the others I've only seen in passing...! I'll always have a soft spot for Precure 5 since it was actually the first movie I watched in a theater here though.
For the same reason as 1 I can't really answer, but I'll give you my favorite transformation instead: Cure Ace! I remember catching that on TV and thinking how awesome it was.
You know how Mayu acts? That's me lol. It was made for me.
I'm not sure. It would be a waste if they didn't, since Satoru is obviously a key member of the team and even as a rabbit we have now seen Daifuku isn't one to be messed with (also Daifuku's human design is so cute...why wouldn't you use that....come on...), but it looks like Nico-sama is probably going to be the extra member so maybe not. Or maybe they'll show up at the end? I wish they'd been given a transformation sequence in the movie at least...
do you sell on komiket? why or why not?
hello, i might be staying in japan for a year or two. do you wear makeup? if so, where do you buy it/what brands do you recommend for dark skin? or should i just stock up on a lot of foundation and concealer before i leave? haha, sorry to bother you, i just didn’t know who else to ask
I don’t wear a lot of makeup nowadays, but I used to! My advice is…stock up lol. That said, I do think MAC here has dark skin foundation and the like, but overall you’re not going to find nearly as much variety (esp depending on your tone) and options as you would back home. Good luck!
Not a question, but I really like how you draw/shade eyes. They pop out in a way that’s mesmerizing.
Different anon, but are there differences between older and new rabbit chats now? I havent been keeping track of em ever since they become rarer with RabbitTVs and Puchinanas (and have long stopped playing the game since)
There are! Newer rabbitchats are not necessarily with Tsumugi, but with other characters too (though some are with Tsumugi, too). Wrt to Gaku and Tsumugi rabbichats (not sure if you're asking about them but) post-part 3 chats were very low on any romantic vibes and it's kind of painful if you're used to the old ones haha. But that closeness has come back since some other developments (maybe not to the insanity of like...his first birthday card, but still fun stuff)
I've been watching Idolish7 as of late bc of the cute GakuTsumu fanarts (like your fancomic, so adorably sweet!), and they're v cute in the anime as well! though it feels like Gaku's feelings developed v fast so I'm left wondering if there are some events that couldn't be adaptated bc of time constraints. Is there a place to keep track of their moments?
So what you're looking for are...rabichats!! The old chats that came i7 cards in the game were exclusively between Tsumugi and the guys, and all of Gaku's old rabichats with Tsumugi are like. Insane. They 100% became my OTP because of these chats because it literally feels like you're watching a couple (or soon-to-be couple) texting each other. It's almost hard to believe we used to get this all the time lmao. My top 3 are, in descending order, Gaku's Last Dimension card, his Outdoor Live card, and his first birthday card. But honestly almost all of them up until the events of Part 3 are amazing and I definitely recommend checking them out. I believe there's an archive of rabichat translations around...somewhere...
very interesting... it feels like sometimes it depends on the fandom for whatever series bc I've seen ppl get into massive arguments before, despite stating 夢主♂ while using the 夢 hashtag (eg 男夢です #bakuten_gilbert夢) so i suppose... 空気読み101 is also... important RIP (altho i may have just stumbled upon some bad eggs?) it also looks like ppl are more open to non-afab 夢主 if the series has a self-insert MC (like joseimuke) than otherwise? 🤔 but yeah tagging is def key!
ty for your input 👌
Screaming at your example here LMAO (I love it, thank you)
It’s true though, it’s going to depend on the fandom and JP fandom can be really vicious when it comes to someone breaking unsaid rules…I do get the general feeling that people tend to be pretty open to non-afab yume though, probably because of the personal nature of yume stuff? Hopefully you find something that works for you!
question: is... it... weird to post in a 夢 and/or プラス tag with a non-afab 夢主 if the genre isn't joseimuke to begin with...? bc sometimes some charas from shonen targeted series have a massive yumejo following which leads to the yume tag only having that, but the tags don't always specify which... so.. (((struggle))) and the assumption that yume leaning content is mostly for women is kinda yknow.
just to make it clear i am not belittling yumejo content, I'm just wondering abt etiquette wrt when 夢主 isn't 夢女
I’ll have to be honest, I’m not exactly sure what the etiquette is when it comes to yume, but judging from what I’ve seen from the twst fandom, for example, I don’t think it’s a problem as long as you tag it? I often see people adding notes like ※ 監♂ when posting male MCs for twst yume works. They even go so far as to warn the MC has a face lol. I realize that twst is a joseimuke fandom, but I think there's a lot of overlap with series like that and shonen series with large female demos so I don't think it would be a stretch to use them as a reference. Yume tends to be female-leaning, but it isn't a rule. This is kind of an extreme example, but モブ(男)×キャラ works are basically a form of non-female yume in that sense. In the end, the most important thing is to tag your work. That's the golden rule in JP fandom above all else.
Hope that helps!
wait was the sanma drama you were livetweeting abt like... that creepy old comedian dude (no offense if you like him, i'm an idol wota and he constantly says weird things abt idol gravures so. lol.)
Hello! I just stumbled upon your works and really really into it 😭🧡 i wonder if you mind having people do fanarts of your creation?? Because i want to do so 🥺 If it's alright, do you have guidelines for fanart and such? Maybe certain tags to put too?
Thank you for your response! I’m sorry if I sounded rude, that wasn’t my intentions at all. Please forgive me. The translations were amazing but some parts I felt was a little awkward, and by fixing those I thought the manga would be perfect. I’m currently a Japanese novel/scenario writer also looking for editing experience. But hearing you already have few editors with you, I believe it’s not my place to step in. I’m sorry again for the sudden contact.
Hi I’m a Japanese Otome lover and I came to stumble across your manga (爆死)on bookwalker. I loved the story and illustrations, but I had some trouble reading the Japanese (as a native). Are you open to hiring Japanese proofreaders/editors?? (Sorry my English isn’t perfect)
What are you most proud of having done or making progress?
Hey how are you? I don't know if it's day, afternoon or night where you live, regardless of the time, I hope you have a great day. I am writing this because I believe it is important to care about the well-being of others.
hi! sorry for silent message, i love your works!! im kinda curious, to working on manga magazine, do you must to live in japan? or do you live in japan? ive seen some magazine accept manuscripts via online, but they never mention if an foreigner can do it too or not :o (i mean, if it script accepted it might be a problem on the prize or etc) also, does to send work it must be in full japanese?
sorry if my questions kinda confusing! m(__)m
No problem! I'll just go and answer your questions one by one.
Do you have to live in Japan to work on manga professionally for Japanese magazine? No. Many (honestly, most) places accept work online, and even in Japan a lot of creators work far a way from Tokyo and don't really get to speak in person with their editors that often. The time difference might make things complicated at times, though.
Do I live in Japan? Yes, haha. But even then, most of my communication with my editor is either via mail or phone.
Yes, your work must be in full Japanese if you're working for Japanese publisher. Your readers will be Japanese people, most of which only speak Japanese, so there's no way around this.
