actually it's consistent. she looks about 5-6 to me in the photo, and in real life that is when you may not retain memories, then she says it happened "about a dozen years ago", which means about 12 years ago. so hu tao is 17-18, which is several years after 13. this is honestly how i imagined her because they put an accent on her being a young girl way too much, they don't do that for jean who is 20-21. there's no way she's 20+ lol, even 19 is a stretch

every time i see kirara i think about oomf who has like. 3 or 4??? fankids of different kirara ships. and the mentioned are kirara/kaveh, kirara/tighnari, kirara/capitano. they all actually know each other and yes tighnari and kaveh raise their kids from her together. i think it actually changed my perception of her forever. i just- can't.

what do you think about amphoreus so far? people keep complaining about the yapperism but i guess it's bound to happen tho since the trailblazers literally know jackshit about them
i'm not too enthusiastic about it but i don't hate it either tbh. it's just ok so far. i'm not very excited bc it's shaping up to be like elysian realm 2.0 electric boogaloo and i kinda already have a sense of where it's going but the yapperism isn't all that outrageous. i do think they could execute the info dumps better however. and there are too many fucking puzzles. also im sure people who dont have acheron fucking hated all the "stop and kill these mobs" parts
tho one thing i personally dgaf about but understand why people dislike it is the dogshit storytelling with the white text on black screens lack of cutscenes and characters standing around with the same 3 poses ajnfhjsdkl it's so... low effort? like it doesnt matter to me bc i only read the dialogue and dont even let characters speak but it's objectively so lazy esp if you compare it to recent genshin stuff. playing citlali's SQ right after amphoreus was rly funny

I really love to think about her making coffins from time to time. Or at least helping with that (because, you know, Florence has the song My Boy Builds Coffins and it brings some neural activity). She smells like fresh wood, has a ton of splinters, but she's usually so so happy. I liked to think it was her grandpa who showed her how to do it, and even though this craft isn't full of female masters, Hu Tao can be considered one.
I also had some thoughts about her helping with makeup for the deseased. They can look very deformed, and even though Baizhu or other doctors sew them together, it's very likely the relatives will be horrified to see their loved one in such state. So she inspects it by herself.
And actually Hu Tao seems to take all things in her business seriously. Even if she doesn't do everything-everything and seems carefree, I feel she always checks all funeral things to be just right, just the way they have to be.
Dissection though seems to be something in the sphere of Baizhu. I think that's the reason he works with Wangsheng so often.
