Hi Sashimi! Ive been reading through “At the Apex of the world” for the first time during my breaks since this morning and I’m almost done. I just wanted to let you know how much I am enjoying this story and i have to pause for now because I’m due to leave for my next client. The part where I paused moved me to tears:

“Why is Seokmin avoiding you?” Minghao asks Mingyu on the 2nd day of this cursed cycle, and of course he’s the first to notice that something’s changed between them. Of course it’s Minghao, of course- Mingyu swallows before he answers, “I did not mind my place.”On the 3rd day, Minghao asks him, “Did he tell you why he was so upset?” And Mingyu answers, “Not directly, but I understood.”On the 4th, “What will you do if he does not speak to you again?” And his chest tightens at the prospect. “I do not know.”  Finally, on the 5th, Minghao tells him, “You care for him.” And Mingyu has no other choice but to answer, “I do.” 

I don’t even know how to describe why I’m crying but it’s so lovely and painful how Mingyu comes to terms with his emotions and how he really isn’t able to put a name to them by himself. And when he’s sure about what he feels it’s so clear to Minghao that he doesn’t have to say it outright. I’m in love with this story and I just know I’m going to cry and scream about this. Ur followers are so right for naming this their Roman Empire!!! I’m really happy I decided to read it this morning — work’s been struggle so reading this fic has prevented me from ruminating on what’s going on at work. Thanks Sashimi for sharing!! I’ll hopefully leave a more meaningful comment on ao3 when I finish it! :3
