hi! Sorry in advance if I make you uncomfortable. It's just that I could feel how sincere you were from what you wrote about supporting palestine and since you said you don't know what to do I wanted to share some tips with you that you can use or ignore. No pressure. It's already very good that you did your research and was willing to speak up, sincerely thank you. There's this arab.org, you can click the link once daily and they donate to recognized charity (It's possible because of the ads). The site is safe so no worries. I think the best thing we can do now, according to the people of Gaza and what we've been saying, is share their stories. It's very important to raise awareness by reposting, posting, signing petitions, emailing representatives, maybe even joining protests. You can do that with the people in your environment, on your social media accounts (not necessarily the writing one if you're not comfy). Also please keep reading! (Books, articles, twt threads,..) make sure to protect yourself from propaganda as well! As of now donations aren't useful as the borders to Gaza are closed but when they open in the future, you can donate to @ThePCRF, the red crescent, MAP (UK based), Palestinian medical relief. A BIG ONE IS BOYCOTTING, it has been proven that it works. Starbucks and Macdonalds's stocks have gone down and in turn they're trying to win back clients by all sort of deals like free drinks. The BDS movement has shared the companies that are the biggest target (including Disney+, Starbucks, Macdonald, Puma, HP,...)
I'm sorry if this was overwhelming, I just wanted to make it easier for you in case you need this information. Please feel free to reach out in case you have questions (@livingsahassle) And again, thank you for speaking up!! I read that you're sick, i hope you're feeling a bit better, and i wish you a fast recovery!

Hello, I promise that this isn't uncomfortable! I'm really grateful to you for reaching out..! I'll look at the website and donate what I can if it can do anything as of now, and I'll save it regardless so that if donations aren't beneficial now I can come back to check on it again. I always get worried about donation sites and what they source back to (a lot of places I donated to in the past ended up using the donations for political investment or funding their own benefits), so I'm really glad to know of one now that can be reliable. Thank you so much for telling me about it. It's really, really scary how easy it's become to not realize how horrible something like this is from a distance and I think a lot of people can say 'I choose this side' over some statements without truly comprehending that these are people with dreams and lives they've made and friends and families and hobbies and years and years of memories just like every other person in the world. It's crushing. and it's really miserable too that the fact that the people being killed and trapped in this are so commonly just shown as statistics by now. the sheer number of people who have been harmed by this is so incomprehensible that media and political statements can make it seem so vague by putting just a number down and comparing it to whatever statement benefits them. It seems like they intentionally suppress anything that would invoke innate human empathy to not cause an uproar that would negatively affect themselves. I usually hate seeing the world in a good vs bad, right vs wrong, because everything is so, so grey in between black and white. but this is really evil. its so incomprehensibly cruel. sorry for the tangent its just. idk. but..! I did find the boycotting list and I saved and read over it a few times to stick to it, thank you for writing this as well. I looked into each company to understand why too, since I think 'why' is so important of a question when truly understanding why something is just/unjust, and I especially don't want to support them now that I know what they intentionaly contribute to the support of palestinian suppression. I think a big thing I've considered while thinking about this the past hours is that understanding the reality and comprehending it for how serious it is is really, really important, and I'm really grateful to you for reaching out to me kindly and going through the time and effort to give this information. You're really kind and I'll keep attentive to stay up to date and support in any way I can. Thank you so much
(also thank you..! it's just sickness so its okay, but i have a fever rn and my thoughts feel kind of blurry rn so idk if my words are making sense, but hopefully they do. sorry again for the tangents but tldr in this response is thank you so much and i'll take this advice wholeheartedly)
