oh in that case, does that mean if someone applies, they'd get a rejection notice early, too? or only if selected by a writer and rejections post may 4th?
If by chance an artist's services are not required we will let them know by May 11th at the latest but we will do our best to include as many as possible. We plan on having each writer collaborate with an artist, so we'll need 23 artists in total to match our current number of writers. Pinch Hitter positions are always valued too since the unexpected can happen and we might need someone to step in.

hello! im confused about how artist apps work. is it on a rolling basis? is it first come first serve? you keep counting down on pitches while the apps are still running and i just don't understand it haha
Yes, we have changed how we're doing apps a little bit. Since we are finding it a challenge to find artists, we are pairing up suitable matches as they come and/or per the writer's requests. Think of it as kind of a Big Bang sort of thing. We are also going to change the form a little to allow those who don't have a preference to apply for any pitches that are left over.

When providing our portfolio, is linking to our AO3 profile acceptable, or are you looking for a more curated collection of our work?
We would prefer a more curated collection since it'll keep things more anonymous but linking to your A03 is okay if you are unable to put together a collection. We understand, so don't sweat.

Saw that underage content is not allowed, asking out of curiosity, do y'all have anything against people who write that or is it just a personal thing y'all don't want in the zine?
We have nothing against those who create said content, we promise. It's more of a safety measure for the mods and contributors because some areas of the world can take legal action against said contributor if found out. We want everyone to have the freedom to create but don't want anyone getting in trouble for it.

We are all good with minks here! As for incest/pseudo-incest, we've added a question to our IC to get everyone's opinion.
