oh in that case, does that mean if someone applies, they'd get a rejection notice early, too? or only if selected by a writer and rejections post may 4th?
If by chance an artist's services are not required we will let them know by May 11th at the latest but we will do our best to include as many as possible. We plan on having each writer collaborate with an artist, so we'll need 23 artists in total to match our current number of writers. Pinch Hitter positions are always valued too since the unexpected can happen and we might need someone to step in.
