I love your art style so much!! The painterly feeling to it makes it look like a drawing that would be in a children's book (theme aside)! Any tips to get that calm and traditional art feeling?? :3
Both in sketchbook drawings and in digital I use approximately the same technique: gradual layering of colors, contrasting shadows and a lot of use of bright colors in random places (lol) for example on the ends of the hair or colored spots in the eyes. Try using a palette of 3 contrasting colors and their shades for rendering and (if you draw digitally) use a brush with a pencil texture!
