person who sent the bad headcanon I guess if I were to think about it harder (this was meant to be funnier sorry), it'd probably be more of him being underwhelmed "people died because they fell for this face?? What?" He'd be happy to see himself, but feels like his face doesn't live up to the expectations he thought it met. It's more normal than he'd expect and it's somewhat haunting to think about, for him.

I have this bad headcanon that if (spawn) Astarion were to see his reflection he'd be unimpressed. Like, he doesn't think he's ugly, he just doesn't understand the hype.

Tell me about your Tavs, please!
I do have two main tavs for now, I mean one tav and one durge the others are works in progress. I will try to make it short (kinda) lmao
I do love my durge Robyn a lot, there's not a lot to say about her as most of her backstory is durge canon story more or less. She is a bard and has a very bubbly personnality, love pastel colors, singing, dancing, killing. She is based on a oc i created when I was like 10-13yo. She kept her pink hair, blue eyes and her personnality but used to be a vampire hunter which make her romancing Astarion pretty funny. She is drawn with Rolan in all my drawing because she just loves bullying him with love and she is a bard and he hates bard. After she freed herself from bhaal her personnality started to shine more and she is a very loving and caring person. She loves hugs and kisses A LOT.
My second favorite is Azra, she is a paladin (of vengeance) and comes from a noble family. Her parents are tieflings and she has a big brother.
She always wanted to follow her father's step and become a paladin so she followed a training for that. She is canonly in relationship with Rolan but is with Gale in game. They are childhood sweethearts and used to follow each other a lot. He used to assist to most of her trainings, using it as a distraction from his awful household situation and she would join him after. He enjoyed these time because he could show her some of his finished magic tricks and others he was still working on and she sometimes would show him some combat techniques (the man has 12STR it was fun to add). They lost contact with each other after Rolan's parents decided to abandon him in a city he didn't know anything about so he would not come back then Elturel fall into avernus happened. (Fun Fact : Rolan's special blue firework is related to the color of her eyes, just to remember her).
They find each other again at the grove, she learns about Cal and Lia and what happened to him, like why he was just gone from a day to another. She tells him about her brother kept at moonrise and all. I mean there's so much about her and I feel like this reply is ENDLESS so I'll leave it here for now 😭

first, disclaimer : this is my HC to each rolan their own
Since I believe Rolan isn't a big fan of touch I think most of his would be pretty tender in public.
- A kiss on your hand before kissing your lips
- Taking you by your hips on one hand, putting one of your on his shoulder before giving you a kiss, a smile in the middle of it, like you are both about to dance or something
- a kiss on your lips before kissing your forehead
(we reserve the spiciest for the tower, when you are together... alone)

My god, that's a hard question I don't even know where to start and you are asking me ONE thing ???
Astarion : This one is the hardest because I have so many things to pick from, I love how funny, clueless and careless he is most of the time. Like he never knows wtf is going on but he's here for the fun, I just love my chaotic goblin
Gale : I love how enthusiastic and passionate he is about everything, the way his eyes sparks, like yes baby talk to me about that book you bought and finished the same day yesterday
Rolan : I love how smug he looks, like of course he's a wizard so he's going to be arrogant but opposed to Gale he just hates everyone on sight. And it's where all the charm is because he's very caring and loving under all the layer of grumpiness

How do you think Rolan would be with kids, like his niblings (gender neutral term for Niece/Nephew) or even his own children?
I feel like he would panick a little the moment you tell him about your pregnancy in fear of not being good enough of a dad first like "wow that's a lot of responsability and i'm afraid I'd fuck that up" but I think he'd be a good dad, he has been taking care of his siblings for years, has been entertaining them with magic tricks he'd repeat as many time as they ask (cal and lia asked him for firework 6 TIMES and he did 😭), he can be clumsy from time to time but I love the idea of him struggling a litlle when you are absent but coming back home with him asleep with the baby, exhausted from the day

Thank you so much for that thread (I can't reply since I'm on priv). I am seriously so tired of seeing people use real issues as a "why you must like my fave" debate instead- especially because the ppl saying this rarely even consider Wyll their fave. They whine about the lack of content for him but never MAKE any themselves, they only whine others aren't doing it! Like there's your problem right there bud! Like ofc there is a racial element to how Wyll was treated in the game and fandom, duh, but like- ctd

"There is a trend here that suggests racial bias from the writers and fandom" is not the same statement as "every fan who likes a character besides Wyll best is racist". And notice that it's never THEIR fave that should get that criticism, it's always fans of those OTHER characters who should be liking Wyll instead of THAT character. But we're good, we have a REASON to like this character! It's so performative and ridiculous. I'm not sure if you know of The Old Guard but this reminds me of a huge ctd

Discourse that blew up there where someone started drama because they felt it was racist that a lot of Nicky/Joe fics had Joe as the top because it was "reinforcing stereotypes about aggressive black men". Like, that person very clearly just wanted bottom Joe and they could have made a bottom Joe week or something but they had to steal the language of racism to try and make a point. Same shit here.
