As for me love is actually both a choice and something beyond our control. We might not able to control who we fall in love with, but we need to remember that love requires a lot of actions and commitment. We can choose if this person is worthy of our love, before deepening our love.

Beyond our control!

To me it’s a choice, there’s many things you can do to prevent yourself to have feelings for someone. In my personal experience, I was always able to choose who I’m gonna fall in love with.

I believe it’s beyond our choice but I still feel like we can choose who we love in the end

Love is a complex emotion that can't be easily explained. It's a feeling that can overwhelm us and take over our thoughts and actions. It's a force that drives us to make choices and sacrifices for the ones we love. Yet, at the same time, love is also something that is beyond our control. So, is love a choice? Yes, in the sense that we choose to open our hearts and let love in. But it's also something beyond our control, something that happens to us without any conscious decision. Love is a beautiful and mysterious combination of choice and fate.

It depends on how you view Love in your perspective, sometimes our feelings are temporary or messed up but they are also valid, we might cant control our feelings but our brains and actions can.

I guess it's both. I don't know how to explain it correctly, but sometimes it can be a choice and sometimes it can't be controlled like it's just happened.

In my view, it's definitely a choice. In my experience, if I let myself dwell with the fling too much, I will end up falling over heal over that certain person. And when I ignore the fling and decided to do something else and decided not to take it seriously, the fling will go away easily. It will give no effect on me bcos I don't let myself to think about it or to act upon it. Thus, love could be controlled if you know how to do it.

The “feeling” of love is something that we can't control, but we have choices about how we make love "work,"  and we can control how we react to it.
