the verhan thesis in short is that they are the least compatible people in the world but they have Moments where they're kinda like: wait, should we be best friends who sometimes kiss? they are the awkward one night stands and sorta bad dates you tell your friends about that become funny anecdotes you tell your current partners. and that's ok! that's fun! not every ship needs to be endgame!

some things about verhan that drive me crazy: how immune vernon is to jeonghan. how jeonghan is so earnest about getting vernon to go along with a bit (gose mag 1 with the interviews and making vernon say bullshit, that one story jeonghan told about vernon splashing water on a member with no prompting and how he was proud of him in that moment, making him sing a song as an answer to a question at a fansign) (i'll try to link these below the twt LOL). my FAVORITE thing is watching vernon celebrate when jeonghan loses its SOOOOOOO funny he wants jeonghan to lose so bad. it makes for great enemies to lovers content!!!!! meet-ugly fics!!!!!! he's a little different from seungkwan who is v loud about how he hates jeonghan's cheating but will join in bc it means he wins. vernon just wants to see jeonghan lose + bonus points if HE beats jeonghan (the game caterers guessing game where he's like OH I HOPED HE WOULD GET IT WRONG and then says the right answer). anyway they should be able to team up more (maybe PICK each other for teams sometimes -_-) and maximize their joint slay etc etc*

i also love the tone jeonghan uses to talk to vernon KSJSKFL; he goes fulllllllll kindergarten teacher talking to a sticky five year old. it’s so funny

also whatever the fuck they were doing during bets….SPEAKING OF WHICH THAT ONE VIDEO OF THEM LAUGHING AT A FUNNY SIGN….THEY LOOKED SO BITCHY…THEY SHOULD BE ABLE TO BE MEAN TOGETHER

most people think you can’t link jeonghan and vernon in a romantic or sexual way (or any way). but that’s where the beauty in them lies. they are not each other’s forever loves or greatest sex they’ve had. personally i think the awkwardness with which they regard each other is what makes them amazing and soooo fun. that being said, you can still put them in all kinds of situations!
