I might be overthinking but I don’t feel Yunho is really that into tvxq anymore. Some of the things he’s said recently: like feeling demotivated and last year where he said “that him and changmin were going to do what fans WANT and not what him and changmin want” 😔 idk just makes it sound like they’re just continuing the group out of obligation rather than actually wanting to. After all, they’re grown men (one has a family). They should be having their own careers by now but they feel just stuck imo. But maybe I’m wrong idk
so here's the thing, i think homin are genuinely very dedicated to tvxq in a way where i don't think they'll ever go an extended time w/o doing anything as a group. and i don't think you get to that point without feeling something more than just obligation, yk? to me there's a difference between being stuck and being content, and i wouldn't be surprised if both of them were content with the way things were all things considered. it's also something to think about that it's possible cm and yh don't want the same thing re: tvxq and its direction. idk though, to me it's kinda read like homin tend not to push back against sm's decisions for tvxq, either bcs they trust sm or bcs they don't care to do otherwise. that or they're just way less vocal about it than other senior artists are (key and boa for instance both being very outspoken about issues they've had pushing back against what sm has decided for them). i really don't know though, i just have a hard time thinking about yunho of all people doing anything half-assedly.
