OH! i actually only think void-based creatures are null (entirely due to the circumstances of their birth... in a way the concept reminds me more of how minerals form than any living being!) as for everyone else... for most that i don't assume to have either cloaca or some strange alternate mating system (pedipalps...) i opt for just a kind of long, smooth, needledick with no permanent external features and a very simple like... pink line pussy. they are simple creatures, a simple dick is fitting... most people opt for stubby conedicks but i feel for most of the characters with their squat little bodies that would be kind of awkward to get in... thusly i tend to make them a lot longer and thinner than most (but not like... enough to look crazy i don't think?)
as for favorite characters... largely it follows that rule although funnily like. 2 of the characters where i think it's quite different are ones i pair together LOL... i want taranza to have cute little pedipalps, and i just think uh. i've drawn it before but essentially susie's body is shapes such a way that. she has kind of. female dolphin genital slit situation. but that's entirely because of the strange conclusions i've come to about what she's even actually SHAPED like. shes kinda like a tsuchinoko even. i don't know.... i know most of these are very much based in me going like "well this is what makes sense so-" sorry if that is not as interesting as you had hoped LOL

tawny blanket is a nice little thing.... brown smooth typical plush throw blanket with some fawnspot like dashes on one side, while the other is a different soft fabric consistency... the sort of tufty kind? also very soft and fluffy. that side is white, so it sort of gives the impression of a countershaded animal's soft white underbelly! as for the kirby characters, mostof the ones i talk about are from triple deluxe, planet robobot, and kirby star allies, but drawcia is from the spinoff game canvas curse!! her sisters are from tdx and star allies respectively... do have a soft spot for drawcia... implied a major part of her motive is just missing her sister, as well sheis first female final boss, which i think is neat. first to really REALLY get the eldritch horror tf treatment as well. in that way she is rather significant for a spinoff character, i feel!

hrm... lessee lesseeee... i would have to break this one down and analyze some of my favorite aspects...
for one i really really liked the treasure mechanic in squeak squad, getting things to mess around with, including little cosmetics for kirby, was so fun... even could probably mix it with the ability evolution mechanic from katfl... being able to customize the appearance of abilities to some degree without having to stick to the aesthetic? i love collectables, i love customization, i'd go crazy for it... i also do love when there's multiple player characters... not necessarily to the extent of star allies but i would love to see more on the scale of return to dreamland's multiplayer!! i think the most fun postgame modes as well are the ones like dededetour and meta knightmare ultra, especially when they have some distinct story divergence....
as for story i am most drawn to the very heavy interpersonal ones... i suppose having multiple major players in the backstory gives me more to chew on... added layer of complexity when i get to think about the motivations not just of One Guy like magolor but like, the struggle of multiple people overlapping!!
would also... really love to see them go somewhere with the art sisters. but that seems unlikely between drawcia being a spinoff villain and neither of her sisters being very important to any specific plot...

OH! i also really enjoy like... waddle dee town, conceptually, i think it would be cute to see hubworld towns more in (inevitable, they wouldn't make this whole new engine and not make more) future 3d installments.... and uhm my sole gripe with katfl is just that by nature of being 3d we lost a lot of the combo depth but. i would not know how to resolve that and still have it feel good! so i will live with it

ooo yes... i've mentioned the thing abt susie's (lackof a)neck like 1000 times but i wanna describe in more detail how i think it's sensitive as like. a survival instinct bc! if the signal between her head and body was fully interrupted, her brain would stop sending signals to her body and all of her organs would stop functioning soon after. i think a lot about how the disembodied limb stuff works a lot. i feel like there's some kinda "field" that keeps them connected. there probably is a degree to which it comes down to magic but kirby has a very major theme of the interaction of magic and science... i imagine there is some kind of energy transfer in a constant communication between the disembodied limbs and the body... i occasionally describe it as an "electromagnetic leash" as, for example, if you were to grab their hand and run, it would drag along their body, and the rest of their hands (however many they have) as well... i don't know if it would be electromagnetic energy, and i'm unsure how/IF blood circulation works... (tiny localized circulatory systems?) but i imagine there is a "signal", and that signal is vital... for example if you put someone's hand in a lead-lined box of some kind to block the signal, it would go numb, limp, and eventually the limb would die... i do think a lot of the characters have behaviors closer to animals than humans... as for example poppy bros jr nuzzles kirby at one point! and sharing food mouth-to-mouth is a very casual platonic thing, it's not far-fetched to imagine a lot of characters have slightly animal behavior... for one i imagine the spiders (and maybe it's even a general part of the culture of floralia?) are social groomers... taranza preens himself often, and sectonia was obsessed with her appearance, so i can easily see them grooming eachother in their past. fuss over her hair... the squeaks i can imagine tend to sleep in piles, not just the bosses all together but any configuration padded out with swarms of squeakers... on the note of squeakers i imagine them and some of the similar "waddle dee clones" (including waddle dees themselves, and by extension of the squeakers the squeaks in general) rely a lot on scent as an identifier (not the jambelievers though, we don't even know if they're all one species, i feel like the homogeneous nature is moreso imposed what with the strict uniform... they are cultists, after all.) ....as for mating sort of stuff!! i have gone on a bit about it before (will link those in twitter reply) so i'll focus on things i haven't mentioned... i feel like, for one, susie is probably mixed-species (and due to this probably infertile ww) as barring her face she has a drastically different set of physical traits from her father, interspecies breeding isn't universally viable, i don't think, but i imagine the combinations can be more drastic than in real life... due to their population mass in relation to other species i imagine waddle dees give birth in litters and raise the babies communally... (tiny baby waddle dees... cute....) i have also very much contemplated which species would have some kind of estrus cycle, though i'm quite indecisive on whether i should run with some of them, or if i'm being too self-indulgent... assigning it to the mage sisters' species would be a glorious way to torture zan and fawn over flamberge and francisca... floralians are probably are more promiscuous during late winter and early spring, as, being bugs and flowers, and therefore sensitive to cold, the warm season is the safest time to raise young... adjacently (and not really related to sex) i think it would be interesting to have some kind of shared instinctual trigger for heightened aggression in all void-related beings but i currently am blanking on ideas... im just imagining metaknight glorified pmsing and it/s making me laugh.
