I think this fic is the first I've ever even said the word Hokkaido. Weird that I've never written about it before 💀 that's actually so tragic though! This almost-trip which exists between them for years and then when it finally happens (under much different circumstances, both of them more firmly in adulthood), it's for something far more utilitarian than young love. And maybe Gojo would be a bit privately smug, maybe even a bit vindictive. Because if Nanami just HADN'T left, this could have been one of many trips and they would have ended the night in each other's arms.
