yeah it's pretty sad! :( the thing is they didn't even change all that much, chngbn does have a gorgeously distinct waist all on his own, especially in a compression shirt like that. from seeing where the background is warped i feel like they mostly wanted the exaggerate the curve a little, and diminish the tiniest bit of muffin top on one side (which is A SHAME. I LOVE THOSE LITTLE SPILLOVER BITS SO MUCH). but that still upsets me greatly!

the fact that someone would see one of their pictures and go "you know what would make it even better. if i edited this person's body a bit" WEIRDS ME OUT. that's a conscious choice they are making!! they are seeing a person as they are and deciding they are not good enough like that. it has nothing to do with making the picture prettier or more striking, they're just too caught up in common beauty standards. and the way they're never transparent about this stuff is super harmful too :/
