that's my account on bluesky! it's been around for a while but afaik it's still kind of in development- but there's lots of functionality already that i've been kind of missing on twt so it's pretty nice! the atmosphere also feels pretty different so far; it's a bit smaller still, so it's a lot easier to just stick to the people you follow and tune out everything else, and there seem to be way less bots so far too. (and no ads, either!)

recently a lot of people moved there bc twt was banned in brazil- not only does that mean a huge portion of people can no longer access twt now, but it also has implications about how little current twt management cares about user experience in general (which is something we've already known for a long time but... something about banning an entire country bc you refuse to abide by their very simple law is a pretty good way to measure how well users will be treated on this app).

i made an account there bc i wanted to test the waters and also have a backup in case twt does end up exploding completely one day, but for now i'm not leaving twt altogether! i still enjoy hanging out with everyone here and will post as usual, but i'll also be making the occasional art post on bluesky :)
