yeah the bts ship wars ARE insane and have been insane and i mean i also was an army (and a shipper) and also took those vlogs as ship content lol.

and i do understand not wanting to see the same thing happen to them but imo it shouldn’t be a reason to restrict them from doing things together yk? especially if they wanted to. even if it would be kq’s idea for them i don’t think there’s a universe in which the two of them wouldn’t be excited to be able to do content together (especially if it really was just the two of them and not on a show with other hosts or something yk) and as a i said, a lot of those negative things are unfortunately unavoidable :/ like how people are weird about them whether they do stuff together or /dont/ do stuff together, so might as well want them to be able to do things together because it would make them happy yk?

genuinely i don’t know! i did see a thing last year that was like a ship popularity thing for korean ships on korean sites (i can’t remember the name rn sorry) that listed the most popular pairings like how people do for ao3 and bc kfans tend to have a clearer split btwn pairings when it’s top vs. bottom — like 낫웡 = top san/bottom wy, 웡낫 = top wy/bottom san, both ships were listed on the chart and the top wy/bottom san one ranked a bit higher than the other! but both were listed on there if u we’re wondering! tho i tend to see more kr top wy/bottom san fan artists on twt but i don’t have like numbers on it or anything lol (and all the kr artists for both versions of the ship are fucking incredible we are soooo lucky)

it’s interesting bc kq has like restricted their fanservice LMAO and only actually promotes as a ship for specific things when they know it’ll make them the most money (e.g. as a unit for bouncy) but also they won’t do it every time which is also weird but i think that would actually make people worse about calling them some company promoted ship or something.

like i absolutely don’t think that just bc kq will push a certain paring more for promos doesn’t mean that they aren’t close and don’t love each other like how we get a lot of yunwoo and sansang pcs and units now (and how we got a lot of topaz before) but like why is it only woosan that people say this about? so many holes in the already flawed logic is what im saying😅

idk like there’s no use arguing or trying to convince those people bc no matter how often or how much woosan show how much they love each other or how close they are (as friends or whatever you think they are) people will just ignore it lmao. they’re older and more mature and it’s just the natural progression of relationships (and friendships) to not be as clingy and in-your-face (and tbh often they are still very much like that) and i don’t think people understand that they have both matured (literally they are 25 now their brains have developed they have more life experience they’ve been together for years now etc etc) but the people doubting them have NOT matured lmao

i think i get where you’re coming from but that’s not really true? like yeah ofc there’s always gonna be people who yell “fanservice🫵🏻” whenever they see a popular pairing doing official content or whatever but i think people forget that woosan (or whoever if you want to bring this into a broader context) are real people who are real-life friends and soulmates who have expressed wanting to do things together (this thing specifically no not exactly but they have talked about traveling together and trying new food together) so in theory if they got to do travel vlog content like what og anon had mentioned and kq wanted to capitalize on it, it doesn’t suddenly mean woosan are only doing it because of “fanservice” because they’re more recognized and more popular now?

no that’s exactly it, they want him to get everything, they’d rather he be a solo artist (and under one of the big 4 — sm or hybe most likely), with no regard to what he actually wants. like no im not san’s best friend either but he’s pretty open about how he feels about individual schedules - he enjoys when the opportunities are presented to him and does very well but he thrives in group activities/doing promotions with multiple members. and again..if he wanted to release more covers or whatever kq is not gonna say “absolutely not” they are so aware of his popularity. he’s a perfectionist, it’s likely that he just…isn’t thinking about it or if he is he just hasn’t had the time 😭 and that’s def something ppl can be upset at kq for but boy is not being “mistreated”

individual schedules for the members are def not equal but that’s the case for every group…..it sucks sure but like…what can you do…..i wish yeosang and wooyoung got to do more too and i hope they do and im so fucking excited for wooyoung pfw and i hope it leads to more opportunities for him but it’s not like the members themselves are upset with each other over this???
