i really dislike that geto doesn't owe apologies/gojo deserves better discourse like we're outsiders...just bc u think so doesn't mean gojo or geto did too. geto left bc there's no other way and gojo didn't blame him bc he understood even though he was hurt. they obv mean more to each other than we'd ever understand so it's silly trying to make it even between them when it's jjkverse that fucked them up the most, and they both understood that. even if geto stayed for gojo he wouldn't have been happy and probably woulda still ended things and himself. personally i think it's even more cruel had geto stayed, built a rls with gojo but hated his kids (meg, tsukimi, maki) and still ended up leaving or killing himself at the end, the pain then for gojo woulda been unimaginable imo. pretty sure geto knew it that's why there's hint of him leaving the 2nd uniform button (aka closest thing to his heart) behind. it was for both their sake. they just weren't meant to be together in this world
