the way maet said it too ksksksk his tone of voice was sooo....it wasn't a question. he was telling him to meet him on his floor after he was done and it just sounded hot and private and so urgent~ like you said, he could have just waited and gave it to him when they got home but he wanted to meet with him ASAP and see his face when he saw it and kiss it

i just imagine maet laying down on one of those couch/bench things in a dark empty small practice room because he decided to rest and accidentally fell asleep waiting for tael to be done. and tael comes in and lays down beside him and wakes him up. and maet playfully bickers with him and says he won't show him it now because he took so long (all with a teasing smile on his face)...and tael can see the box outline in his pocket and so climbs on top of him and he tries to take it out and maet tickles him in retaliation....then they lock eyes and pause and maet says he'll give it to him if he can get a kiss and ofc tael is happy to oblige...then they end up making out for awhile before they remember why maet asked tael to meet him there in the first place 😜
