well yes, of course 🩷 and i think it would be amazing bc all three are so full of love for eo~ we have sungseok ofc with their deep history and bond and then maettael with all their yearning and flirting and then bintael, the roomies who would stay up late talking about all their worries and fears laying in bed until the late hours of the night finding comfort in each other. now combine the three together and it would be such a stable and supportive relationship with lots of passion too (esp bc we know both bin and tael are possessive of maet and have a need to protect him jsjsksk)

i actually had a pacific rim au idea once that was:

mine was not as deep kdksks it would probably just be maetbin drift partners with taerae as the scientist who is desperately trying to find a solution before they possible die.

binmaet (past romantic and now has to navigate still being drift partners with their complicated history, but they do still love eo) and maettael (current romantic, and scientist tael is stressed bc he has to let maet go into the fight not knowing if he'll come back)

in my mind maet would be still be in love with both and tael is a ball of nerves bc maet's safety is in the hands of bin, so he has to learn to trust him even though he's skeptical at first, but they spend time together and that bond is formed too and they can all 3 be happy and in love together and work together ♡ i like happy endings sooooo 🤭
